Mandy Rubin

Mandy Rubin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her Master in Community Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mandy first gained experience in the mental health field providing individual and group therapy to undergraduate college students at Queens University in Charlotte, North Caolina. After a move to Colorado, she honed her expertise in treating individuals with eating disorders during her tenure as a Primary Therapist with ED Care of Denver. Ever the rolling stone, she and her family relocated to Northeast Florida where Mandy joined Waves of Hope to continue providing expert care to clients seeking recovery from eating disorders.

Throughout her career Mandy has worked with a diverse clientele in a multitude of settings from her current private practice to hospital-based community care and higher education counseling centers. In addition to her professional experience she finds fulfillment volunteering virtually with the Eating Disorder Center of Denver as a recovery group facilitator. Through this varied experience she has a high appreciation for the need for a holistic approach to best meet the unique needs of each client seeking care.

In her free time Mandy enjoys being outside, listening to live music, reading, and traveling as much as possible with her husband and two rambunctious boys.
